In Home Support Across the Continuum of Life

Postnatal Care

Many studies into postnatal women’s needs stress the importance of rest in the period after the birth to enable them to make the emotional, mental and physical transition to motherhood. Unfortunately many women in Canada feel inadequately supported after hospital discharge.

We offer new moms the support they need to thrive and be able to confidently care for their newborn. This care is tailored to your precise needs whether you do not have family nearby for support, you do not have a partner or your partner is unable to get time off from work, you have had delivery complications or a Caesarean Section, or simply prefer to maintain your independence by having an experienced helper during the day, leaving you free to bond as a family uninterrupted during the evening. This service typically includes four to eight hours per day of care for the mother and newborn for three to ten days, but is flexible according to your needs.
